2019 - Runner - Video Game Workshop

- 1st year of Bachelor's Degree in Design
- 2nd and 3rd Years of Bachelor's Degree in Video Game Art

The Video Game workshop took place from February 18 to 22, 2019. Students in 2nd and 3rd Years of Bachelor's Degree in Video Game Art as well as students in 1st year of Bachelor's Degree in Design wishing to study Video Games the year after were invited to attend.

Students shared a common theme for their video games: Russian Constructivism! Each group then had to express themselves by creating their own video game with a graphic environment that took inspiration from the common theme. Each group was made up of a dozen students from all levels and had to create a runner game in 5 days.

Beyond the fact that 1st year students had the opportunity to dwelve into the world of video games, all students learnt how to work in teams. It required dividing the work in the best possible and most efficient way, based on everyone's aptitudes.

All throughout the week of creative workshop, students worked under the leadership of Olivier Thiébaut, head teacher of the Bachelor's Degree in Video Game Art - Japan Oriented.
