Final Jury for the First Year Bachelor’s Degree in Design

The last jury of the year took place last week for the students of the First Year Bachelor’s Degree in Design, they presented all their work in front of their teachers.

The students presented individually, for 15 minutes, all their work carried out during the year in the graphic design studio, architectural design studio and plastic expression classes. Some presented everything on a Powerpoint while others preferred the paper board format with the originals of their drawings, because the presentation medium was free. The difficulty of the exercise was to leave the framework of an academic presentation and to present oneself infont of the jury as a real professional.

Through the projects carried out in each of the specialties, the students were able to discover different aspects of design and create affinities with a particular specialty. Since the First Year Bachelor’s Degree in Design is a generalist year, students discover every field, graphic and digital design, space design, eco-responsible design and video game art.

This jury also aims to train students in the presentation of their book in the professional environment. They were accompanied throughout the year by our educational team in the realization of their books and their resume as we could see during their Professional Book Jury. The aim is to give them the means to then embark on the search for an alternance for their second year of Bachelor.
