The students of Master of Interior Design - Designer, collaborate with the INJA

Presentation of the year-end projects of our students of Master’s degree in Interior Design - Designer, at the INJA

Last July, the first years of Interior Architect - Designer presented their end-of-year projects to their professors Marie Begel and Frédéric Dupressoir. Students have been working in pairs on this project since January 2022 in collaboration with the « Institut National des Jeunes Aveugles » (National Institute for the Young Blind) in Paris. The programme requested was to reflect on the conversion of lingerie into a home for young people of the Institute. This space was to bring together places of conviviality such as exchanges, music, play, reading…. but also allow them an independent living approach.

The students will represent their work before the INJA jury this September and only three projects will be selected by the Directorate and professors. This is an opportunity for our students to get out of school and to carry out a first professional project with a public institution.

This project allowed each student to be confronted with the problem of visually impaired through Interior Architecture. They had to completely rethink the layout of a space taking into account the constraints of mobility and accessibility for people with disabilities.

Here is an overview of their projects.
