2018 - The « Garden garden » exhibition - Workshop Bachelor's Degree in Global Sustainable Design

3rd year of Bachelor's Degree in Global Sustainable Design

The « garden garden » workshop took place in May 2018 for students in 3rd year of Bachelor's Degree in Global Sustainable Design. The workshop was carried out in partnership with the collaborative and social Makerspace of Içi Montreuil.

Içi Montreuil is a place dedicated to creative professionals, providing them with machine-tools in order make quick prototypes or manufacture at a small scale.

During the workshop, our 3rd Year students had to design a product, a service or an installation on the theme of plants. Their challenge was to come up with an innovative concept facilitating the transition to help us rethink our behaviours and improve our relationship to the environment. To carry out their project, students had to rely solely on recycled materials provided by the Réserve des arts and the Içi Montreuil Makerspace.

To help students through their project, the workshop was supervised by Evy Dutheil, a freelance designer who's very senstive to sustainable design.

Following the workshop, the students' creations were exhibited at the 153rd edition of the Garden, Garden exhibition that takes place every year at the Tuileries Gardens.
